Mihaela Risca is the Sr. Solutions Marketing Manager for Financial Services at Cloudera. In this capacity she translates complex technical concepts into business relevant messaging and creates programs to bring to market innovative solutions. Her diverse background has enabled her to cross functional boundaries and industries. Previously she held vertical marketing and sales positions at Cisco and NetApp and before that she worked in IT at Estee Lauder and SITA. She started her career as an application developer and has acquired a deep understanding of technology that helps her connect the dots between business and technology. Mihaela has an MS in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Romania.
